V/hereas, we, the Chief and Council have decided that action should be taken to control the traffic of alcohol into our reserve. T,v'hereas, the misuse of alcohol have played a major role in creating va.rious problems in terms of; disruption of our way of life, distruetion of property, distruction of lives, personal and family problems. Therefore be it resolve, on September 17, 1979, the following by-law comes into effect as of this date. No person or persons will be allowed to bring in, or have in their possession any intoxicants. Any Band member not observing this by-law will be subject to immediate dismissal of employment and will not be eligible for welfare asisstance.
