Tx hl ie oG o^n:c i '._ lx of the Eskasoni Band of Indians at a meeting -1x0 Id _dil. ______________, 19 6 3, makes the following by-law pursuap ' ^ 7 t 1 o paragraphs (c), (d), (q) and (r) of Section 80 of the Indian Act# v By-law No© 1 A by-law to provide for the regulation of the activities of boys and girls on the Eskasoni Indian Reserve actually or appar­ A ently under l6 years of age. (a) No boy or girl on the Eskasoni Indian Reserve actually or apparently under lo years of age, shall loiter any place within the said Indian Reserve after 8 o Tclock in the afternoon from September 15 to June ll| inclusive in any year. (b) Ho boy or girl on the Eskasoni Indian Reserve actually or apparently under l6 years of age, shall be in any place of entertainment, street, lane, by-way or common within the said Reserve, or shall be in the course of returning from any place of entertainment off the said Reserve after the hour of 8 o'clock in the afternoon from September 15 to June lli inclusive in any year, unless accompanied by his or her parent or- an adult appointed by a parent to accompany such ehildo (c) No boy or girl on the Eskasoni Indian Reserve actually or apparently under l6 years of age, shall loiter any place : - ’• 'd > within the said Indian Reserve after 9*30 o'clock In the afternoon from June Ip to September ik inclusive in any year© (d) No boy or girl on the Eskasoni Indian Reserve actually or apparently under l6 years of age, shall bo In any place of entertainment, street, lane, by-way or common within the said Reserve, or shall be in the course of returning, from any place of entertainment off the said Reserve after the hour of 9.30 o'clock in the afternoon from June 15 to September llj. inclusive in any year, unless accompanied by his or her parent or an adult appointed by a parent to accompany such child© (e) A boy or girl on the Eskasoni Indian Reserve found violating y;5! the provisions of uaragraphs (a), (b), (c), or (a) may be warned and conducted home by a nolice officer© ' ; (f) A parent who permits his child to violate paragraphs (a)yl(b), ( c) or (d) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable @i|| on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding &5<>00 or-im-'T'S prisonment for a term not exceeding seven days, or both fine . and impr i s onment © 1 Chief / /SZs '•A, <-zLA ---- ---Councillor .
