A d O D ' O À« U J 3 O X O J , A d O D ï AilO j 0 &3 X ; I O t f l i * WALPOLE ISLAND BAND OF INDIANS THE COUNCIL of the Walpole Island Band of Indians, at a meeting held on the 12th day of October, A.D. 1965, reached the following by-law pursuant to Section SO of the Indian Act. BY-LAW #14 A BY-LAW to authorize the employment of.a secretary-treasurer, and such other administrative assistance as may be required. THIS COUNCIL of the Walpole Island Band of Indians enacts as foliows: 1. That the position of secretary-treasurer be and the same is hereby created for the Walpole Island Band of Indians. 2. That the Council of the Walpole Island Band of Indians be, and it is hereby authorized to employ a person to fill such office of secretary-treasurer and to V appoint or employ such other clerical_or other assistance as may be necessary, from time to time, by Resolution of said Council. 3. That said Council shall, at the time of employment of each secretary-treasurer or other persons required, fix the rate of remuneration and terms of j payment thereof. 4. That such secretary-treasurer and such other assistance as may be employed from time to time, shall j ! perform such duties as may be fixed by said Council by Resolution, or as may be directed from time to time by the Administrator of the Walpole Island Band of Indians.
