FOR HEADQUARTERS USE ONLY C O U N C IL OF TH E Wikuemikons Reserve BAND AG ENCY Monitoulin Island PR O V IN C E Ontario P L A C E D A TE 10th February An 10 69 D A Y MONTH Y E A R do hereby resolve: ^HAT this By-law bo known as By-law #3 WHEREAS it ie desirable that the laying out and supervision of all work and expenditure upon improvement and maintenance of toads within the exclusive jurisdiction of this Council should be under the supervision of a Road Superintendent , acting under its direction. Aid) WHEREAS it is the desire of this Council to take advantage of The Highway Improvement Act and to receive the Government grant as provided in the said Act, BE IT TH23JEFÜRT- EXACTED by the Council of — Wikweaikong Indian Reserve— and it is hereby enacted. 1. W i J c w e a i k o n g , Ontario........ . is appointed Road Superintendent in the said. .Reserve •• to act as aforesaid in accordance with the provisions of the said Act from the. .10th. .day of. .February. .1969. .and during the pleasure of the said Council, 2. That the Road Superintendent shall be paid at the rate of • .£2,55. .per,.hour, .for such tine as he nay be so employed. 3. THAT it shall be the duty of the superintendent to lay out and supervise all work and expenditure on roads within the exclusive jurisdiction of this Band Council in accord ance with the provisions of the Highway Improvement Act. A. THAT ell b/«JLaws or parts thereof and all and any resolutions of said Council contrary hereto or inconsistent herewith, be and the sane ere hereby repealed. 5* THAT two certified copies of this try-law be forwarded by the clerk without delay to the district off ice of the Jtmicipal Roads branch, Department of Highways, Ontario. 6.THAT this by-law shall not come into force until approved by the Minister of Highways, as provided in the Highway Improvement Act.
