B H Ü i it is deeslèd expedient to pass a by-law governing the Construetlonij ' ; ; É: .and repair of Public Buildings on the Six Jati^na Beserve. v-*> BOW fHBBBFQRB THE COUNCIL OF TME SIX NATIONS INDIANS OF THE QRABDBIVBB HEREBY BKACTS AS FOLLOWS t 1* Bo public building on this Reserve shall be «rented or repaired without an authority permitting the said erection or repairs being first obtained from this Council^ and proper plans, specifications,and estimated cost of said erection or repairs shall be submitted to the Council for its approval and said approval obtained and also said erection and repairs shall be under the supervision of the Inspector of Works appointed by this^Council. 2. Upon a conviction for a breach of any of the provisions of this by-law the person convicted shall forfeit and pay in the discretion of the convioting Magistrate or Justice of the Peace a penalty not exceeding (exclusive of costs) the sum of $50*00 m m each offence recoverable under $he Summary Conviction» Act, 3. Upon a conviction for a braach of any of the provisions of this by-law the convicting Magistrate or Justice of the peace besides imposing a penalty may order the offender to carry out the requirements of this by-law within a time to be limited by *the-order1* iw default of ttg, offender carrying out such ordei
- 2 the said Magistrate or Justice of the Peace may order the demolition or removal of the structure or the part thereof erected or structurally altered contrary to the provisions of this by-law at the expense of the offender* h, The conviction of an offender upon a breach of any of the provisions of this by-law, shall not operate as a bar to a prosecution against the same offender upon any subsequent breach of the same or any other provisions of this by-law. The presiding Magistrate or Justice of the Peace may convict any offender repeatedly for repeated breached of this by-law, and may at his discretion, impose upon each conviction any of the penalties provided for by this by-law.
