The Council of thelroquois of St. RegisBand of Indians at a meeting held May 11, 196*f (date) makes the following by-law pursuant to paragraph (b) and (r) of Section 80 of the Indian Act. By-law No. 3* A by-law to provide for the regulation of traffic in the Cornwall Island Reserve, in the Province of Ontario 1. In this by-law (a) "Council" means the Council of the Iroquois of St fienlis of Indians; and (b) "Reserve" means the Cornwall Island Indian Reserve. 2. No vehicle shall be operated at a rate of speed in excess of 10 (thirty) miles an hour within the Reserve. 3. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 2 of this by-law no vehicle shall be operated at a rate of speed in excess of 10 (ten) miles an hour within any school, zone in thé Reserve designated and marked as such by the Council. h* Any person who violates any of the provisions of this by-law shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars or imprisonment for a term not exceeding thirty days, or both fine and imprisonment.
