. The Council of the Mississauga of the Credit Band of Indians at a meeting held (jdate . JSJaJ.---- makes the following hy-law pursuant to paragraphs (a) and (r) of section 80 of The Indian Act* By-law Ho» 4 A hy-law to provide for the disposal of garbage on the New Credit Number 40A Indian Reserve, in the Province of Ontario. 1. In this by-law, (a.) ''council means the Council of the Mississauga of the Credit Band of Indians; (b) "garbage means any offal, household refuse, fish or animal waste, fruit or vegetable waste, discarded cans, discarded boxes, discarded bottles, broken glass or anything that is or may become offensive or prejudicial to health; (c) "garbage dump" means any place on the Reserve designated in writing by the Council for the deposit and disposal of garbage; (d) "reserve" means the New Credit Number 40A Indian Reserve. 2. No person shall deposit or dispose of any garbage upon or into any place on the Reserve except upon or into a garbage dump. 3* Any person who violates any of the provisions of this by-law shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding 'à.&Tf' dollars or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 0 days or both fine and imprisonment.
