7* /7 S 6 /> <g/ 'Ÿ7& DISORDERLY CONDUCT The Council of the Osnaburgh Indian Band at a meeting held this day of 14-j0976 make the following by-lav? pursuant to paragraphs (c) and (d) of s.SC of the Indian Act. By-Lav? No. 1/76 A by-lav? to provide for the observance of law and order and. for the prevention of disorderly conduct and nuisance on the Osnaburgh Indian Reserve in the Province of Ontario.. In this bylav? (a) "special constable" means a person appointed pursuant to s .10 of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Act, E.3.C. 1959, c54 for the purposes of maintaining lav/ and order on the Osnaburgh Indian. Reserve; (b) "public place" includes any place to which the public have access as of right or by invitation express or implied. No person shall cause a disturbance in or near a public place (a) by fighting, screaming, shouting, swearing, singing, or using insulting or obscene language; (b) by being drunk, or (c) by impeding or molesting other persons. No person shall openly expose or exhibit an indecent exhibition, in a public place or commit any act in a public place which offends against public decency or order. No person shall loiter in a public place or in any way obstruct persons who are there No person shall disturb the peace and quiet of the occupants of a dwelling house by discharging fire-arms, or by other disorderly conduct in a public place, or dwelling house. No person shall without lawful excuse, the proof of which lies upon, him, prowl or loiter by day or by night upon the property of another person near a dwelling house situated on that property without the owner's permission, either exoress or implied.

2 The special constable shall have the power and authority to arrest any persons who violates any of the provisions of this by-law. No person shall resist or wilfully obstruct a special constable in the execution of his duty or any person lawfully acting in aiding such an officer No person shall omit without reasonable excuse to assist a special constable in the execution of his duty in arresting a person or in preserving the peace after having reasonable notice that he is required to do so. Any person who violates any provision of this by-law shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $100.CC or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 30 days or both fine and imprisonment.
