HIAWATHA INDIAN RESERVE Amendment By-Law Number 10-1 (1979) The Council of the Hiawatha Band of Indians at a meeting held on the Hiawatha Reserve makes the following By-Law pursuant to Paragraphs TB f and fRf of Section 81 of the Indian Act, By-Law No. 10-1 A By-Law to provide for the regulation of traffic in Hiawatha Indian Reserve, in the Province of Ontario, (a) No vehicle shall be operated at a rate of speed in excess of 50 kilometers an hour within any residential area designated and marked as such by the Council of the Band, (b) We hereby authorize stop signs to be located at the intersection of Paudash Street and County Road No. 31, so that all vehicles must come to a stop ^t this location. Sketch attached indicating the location of these signs. (c) Any person who violates any of the provisions of the By-Law shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable of summary conviction to a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars or imprisonment for a term not exceeding thirty days, or both fine and imprisonment.
