HIAWATHA FIRST NATION RESERVE NO. 36 REPEAL OF CERTAIN BY-LAWS WHEREAS, The Council of the HIAWATHA FIRST NATION, desires to repeal certain by-laws; AND WHEREAS the Council of the HIAWATHA FIRST NATION, pursuant to sections 80 and 81 of the Indian Act, R.S.C. 1985 c.1-5, may, subject to the approval of the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, make by-laws for any or all of the purposes provided for under sections 80 and 81 ; AND WHEREAS the Council of the HIAWATHA FIRST NATION, hereby enacts this by-law to repeal the following by-laws NOW THEREFORE the Council of the HIAWATHA FIRST NATION, hereby enacts this by-law to repeal the following by-laws; Band By-Law number 1, By-Law Title “WILDLIFE”, enacted on the 18th day of September, 1966, effective on the 18th day of October, 1966; and Band By-Law number 2, By-Law Title “TRAFFIC”, enacted on the 25th day of September, 1967, effective on the 18th day of October, 1967; and Band By-Law number 1A, By-Law Title “WILDLIFE”, enacted on the 14th day of August, 1968, effective on the 22nd day of September, 1968; and Band By-Law number 3, By-Law Title “PUBLIC GAMES”, enacted on the 26th day of March, 1970, effective on the 4th day of May 1970; and Band By-Law number 4, By-Law Tide “LOCAL WORKS”, enacted on the 23rd day of June, 1971, effective on the 1st day of August, 1971; and Band By-Law Number 9, By-Law Title “WILDLIFE", enacted on the 23rd day of May, 1978, effective on the 2nd day of July, 1978.
