HIAWATHA FIRST NATION RESERVE NO. 36 REPEAL OF CERTAIN BY-LAWS WHEREAS, The Council of the HIAWATHA FIRST NATION, desires to repeal certain by-laws; AND WHEREAS the Council of the HIAWATHA FIRST NATION, pursuant to sections 80 and 81 of the Indian Act, R.S.C. 1985 c.1-5, may, subject to the approval of the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, make by-laws for any or all of the purposes provided for under sections 80 and 81 ; AND WHEREAS the Council of the HIAWATHA FIRST NATION, hereby enacts this by-law to repeal the following by-laws NOW THEREFORE the Council of the HIAWATHA FIRST NATION, hereby enacts this by-law to repeal the following by-laws; Band By-Law number 1, By-Law Title WILDLIFE”, enacted on the 18th day of September, 1966, effective on the 18th day of October, 1966; and Band By-Law number 2, By-Law Title TRAFFIC”, enacted on the 25th day of September, 1967, effective on the 18th day of October, 1967; and Band By-Law number 1A, By-Law Title WILDLIFE”, enacted on the 14th day of August, 1968, effective on the 22nd day of September, 1968; and Band By-Law number 3, By-Law Title PUBLIC GAMES”, enacted on the 26th day of March, 1970, effective on the 4th day of May 1970; and Band By-Law number 4, By-Law Tide LOCAL WORKS”, enacted on the 23rd day of June, 1971, effective on the 1st day of August, 1971; and Band By-Law Number 9, By-Law Title WILDLIFE", enacted on the 23rd day of May, 1978, effective on the 2nd day of July, 1978.

Voting in favor of the by-law are the following members of the HIAWATHA FIRST NATION Council: Chief Greg Cowie Councillor Joan Ferguson Councillor Paul Howard Councillor Ralph Loucks Councillor Donald Paudash being the majority of those members of the Council of the HIAWATHA FIRST NATION, present at the aforesaid meeting. The quorum of the Council is . '6 members. Numbers of members of the Council present at the meeting A .
