A.D . 19.9.7.. (In Fun) (Month) D o H e r e b y R e s o l v e : To make the follow ing bylaw pursuant to paragraph (c ) (d ) (q) and (r ) of Section 80 o f the Indian Act. BYLAW NO. 2 A Bylaw to provide fo r the regulation of the a c t iv it ie s of boys and g ir ls on the Constance Lake Indian Reserve, actually or apparently under 16 years o f age. (a) No boy or g ir l on the Constance Lake Indian Reserve actually or apparently under 16 years of age, shall lo ite r any place within the Constance Lake Indian Reserve a fter nine o 'c lo ck E.S.T. in the afternoon during the months September - April and a fter ten o 'c lock D.S.T. in the afternoon during the months May - August. (b) No boy or g ir l on the Constance Lake Indian Reserve actually or apprently under 16 years o f age, shall be in any place of entertainment, s treet, lane, by-ways, or common within the said Reserve a fter the hour o f nine o 'c lo ck E.S.T. in the afternoon during the months September-April and a fter 10 o 'c lo ck D.S.T. in the aftembon during the months May-August, unless accompanied by his or her parents or an adult appointed by a parent to accompany such ch ild . (c ) A boy or g ir l on the Constance Lake Indian Reserve found violating the provisions of paragraph (a) or (b) may be warned and conducted home by a po lice o f f ic e r and i f the warning is not regarded or a fter the warning the boy or g ir l is again found disobeying said paragraph (a) or (b) the parents of such boy or g ir l shall be directed to meet with the Advisory Committee appointed by the Council o f the Band fo r the protection of the children. (d) A parent who permits his ch ild to violate paragraph (a) and (b) shall be gu ilty of an offence and shall be liab le on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding ^5.00 or imprisonment fo r a term not exceeding seven days, or-both fine and imprisonment.
