EAGLE LAKE BAND BY-LAW NO. ^-84 This By-law may be cited as The Roads By-Law. This By-law is made pursuant to paragraphs (b), (p), (q) and (r) of Section 81 of the Indian Act. In this By-Law: (1) All roads on the reserve are private roads only, and are designed and maintained for the use of the members of the Band and their invitees. They are not public highways. (2) No person shall use a road on the reserve without the express permission of a member or the Band. OR (2) No person who is not a member of the Band may use any road on the reserve without first obtaining permission in writing from the Band Administrator or a member of the Council. Violators of this By-law shall be guilty of an offense and shall be liable on Summary Conviction to a fine not exceeding $100.00 or to imprisonment not exceeding 30 days or both fine and imprisonment.
