EAGLE LAKE BAND BY-LAW NO. 5-84 (1) This By-law may be cited as The Business By-Law. (2) This By-law is made pursuant to paragraph (g) and (r) of section 81 of the Indian Act. (3) In this By-Law: (1) "Building" means any structure, that is erected for the purpose of carrying on any class of business. (2) "Business" means store, garage, filling station, pool hall, dance hall, laundromat or any and all occupations engaged in : : : c o m m e r c e l . f ô r ^ lucrative purposes. (4) No person or persons shall erect a building for the purpose of ~ ̂ conducting a business with the Eagle Lake Indian Reserve without the written consent of the Chief and Council granting permission to construct a building indicating the nature or conduct of said business. (5) No person or persons shall establish any kind of business on the Eagle Lake Reserve without the written authorization of the Band Council. (6) Violators of this By-law shall be guilty of an offense and shall be liable on Summary Conviction to a fine not exceeding $100.00 or to imprisonment not exceeding 30 days or both fine and imprisonment.
