EAGLE LAKE BAND BY-LAW NO. 9-84 This By-Law may be cited as The Amusements By-law. This By-Law is made pursuant to paragraphs (m), (n), (q) and (r) of Section 81 of the Indian Act. The purpose of this by-law is to provide for the regulation and control of public games, sports, races, athletic contests and other amusements, and to regulate the activities of those who buy, sell or otherwise deal in wares of merchandise. The Eagle Lake Band Council hereby enacts the following as a By-Law: (1) * No person shall organize, establish, sell, buy , or otherwise deal in those matters referred to in Section (3) above without the written consent of the Band Council. Violators of this By-law shall be guilty of an offense and shall be liable on Summary Conviction to a fine not exceeding $100.00 or to imprisonment not exceeding 30 days or to both fine and imprisonment.
