COUCHICHING INDIAN BAND BYLAW NO. 8 This Bylaw is made pursuant to The Indian Act, Section 81 (1) (f) , regarding local works. The purpose of this Bylaw is to assure continuous operation of the Reserve sewer and water system. The Couchiching Band Council hereby enacts the following as a Bylaw:-1. All occupants of Reserve buildings served by the sewer and water system must pay promptly and on demand all charges for service as prescribed or demanded from time to time by Band Council Resolution . The Council shall order termination of service to any building for which such charges are not paid. Violations of this Bylaw shall be punishable by a fine equal to the charges unpaid as of the date of conviction, not to exceed $100.00 for each offence. Failure to pay each successive regular charge shall constitute one offence. This Bylaw was approved and passed at a meeting of the Band Council held on the 29 day of May , A.D. 1978. "Rudy L.
