COUCHICHING INDIAN BAND BYLAW NO. * This Bylaw is made pursuant to The Indian Act, Section 81 (1) (p) regarding trespassers. The purpose of this Bylaw is to remove and punish trespassers on the lands and waters of the Reserve. The Couchiching Band Council hereby enacts the following as a Bylaw 1. All non-Indians who reside on the Reserve and are not bona fide temporary invited visitors of any Band Member, and who were not ordinarily resident of the Reserve on the date of passage of this Bylaw by the Band Council, are deemed to be trespassers and are liable for prosecution. Violations of this Bylaw shall be punishable by fines up to $100.00, or imprisonment up to thirty (30) days), or both, per single violation, and each day of any continuing trespass is hereby deemed to constitute a single violation. This Bylaw was approved and passed at a meeting of the Band Council held on the 29 day of May , A.D. 1978. "Rudy L.
