Whereas subsection 2 of Section 109 of the Highway Traffic Act (R.S.O. 1980, Chapter 198) authorizes the council of a municipality and the trustees of a police village by By-Law to prescribe a speed limit of 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 or 100 kilometres per hour for motor vehicles driven on any highway or portion of highway under its jurisdiction; And whereas it is deemed expedient that the speed if motor vehicles on certain highways within Rama Indian Reserve # 32 be restricted. Now therefore the Council of the Chippewas of Rama First Nation council enacts a.s'follows: 1. When any highway or portion of highway set out below is marked in compliance with the regulations under the Highway Traffic Act, the maximum rate of spped thereon shall be 50 kilometres per hour.
