A by-law to amend by-law 79-10 to regulate the use and development of land and the character and use of buildings on the Rama Indian Reserve No.32. 1621 6 JUL 4 Pl:28 WHEREAS paragraph (f), (g), (h), (i), (1), (n), (q), and (r) of Section 81 of the Indian Act empower the council of a band to make by-laws respecting the use and development of land and the imposition of a penalty for the violation thereof; AND WHEREAS the council of the Rama Indian Band did enact by-law number 79- 10 respecting the regulation of use and development of land and the character and use of buildings on the reserve; AND WHEREAS the said council deems it to be expedient and in the best interest of the residents of the Rama Indian Reserve to amend the said by-law; NOW THEREFORE the council of the Rama Band enacts a by-law thereof as follows: 1. Section 3.12 of by-law no 79-10 is repealed and the following substituted therefore: 3.12 Unless precautions satisfactory to the Band council have been taken or will be taken to ensure that no danger to health will occur, no persons shall use land or erect or use any building for any business, trade or calling in any zone which may be noxious or offensive by reason of the omission or production of odour, dust, refuse matter, wastes, vapour, smoke, gas, vibration or noise. 2. Map No. 2 of schedule A of by-law no. 79-10 is amended to reflect the change from Rural Zone to Industrial Zone as designated on the attached Map No. 2
