N O TA: L e s mots des fonds de notre bande** doivent paraître dans toutes les résolutions portant sur des dépenses à même le s fonds des bandes ______ _____ THE COUNCIL OF THE L E C O N SEIL D E L A B A N D E IN D IEN N E C l- iT T O S W a S O f T?av»i* AGENCY a g e n c e G e o r g i a n B a y D i s t r i c t PROVINCE PLA C E n o m d e l ' e n d r o i t R a m a R e s e r v e $ 3 2 DATE H Q -* t h M * * a * * y AD 19 J D A Y - J O U R M O N T H - MOIS DO HEREBY RESOLVEj 5?o amend By-Law $ 1, mads July 13» 1955» and sanctioned D E C ID E , P A R L E S P R E S E N T E S : by the Department effective July 2.7th, 1955 (File # 22^-3-10)# Amendment as followsj By-Law $ 1A pursuant to paragraphs (c), (d), (5) and (r) of Section 81 in* the Indian Act* A By-Law to provide for the regulation of the activities of boys and girls on the Sana Reserve, actually or apparently under the age of 13 years* (a) ITo boy or girl on the Hama Indian Reserve actually or apparently under 13 years of age, shall loiter any place within the Hama Indian Reserve after} Î1:C0 o5clock in the afternoon during school holidays and week­ ends; 10:00 o*clock in the afternoon during school days* (b) ITo boy or girl on the Hama Indian Reserve actually or apparently under 13 years of age, shall be in any place of entertainment, lane, by-way or common within the said reserve"after the hour of 11:00 o*clock in the afternoon unless accompanied by his or her parent or an adult appointed by the parent toaccompany such child* (c) A boy or girl on the Hama Indian Reserve found violating the provisions of paragraphs (a) or (b) may be warned andconducted hone by a police officer and if the warning is not regarded, or after the warning the boy or girl is again found disobeying said paragraphs (a) or (b), the »«*» iA V w w j r v a committee appointed by the Council of the Chippewas of Hama Band for the protection o& the children. (d) A parent who permits his child to violate paragraphs Ça) or (b) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £20.00 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 7 days, or both fine and imprisonment.
