Council of the Chippevaa of Rama Band of Indians at a nesting held July 13, 1955___________ , cakes the following by- law pursuant to paragraphs (c), (d), (q) and (r) of Section 80 of the Indian let. KBy-law,Bb. ---------- A by-law to provide for the regulation of the activities of boys aîfd girls on the Rs.~*a Indian Reserve,* actually or apparently tinder 16 yean of age. (a) Ko boy or girl on the Rena. Indian Reserve actually or apparently tinder 16 years of ago, shall loiter any place within the Rama Indian Reserve after nine oclock in the afternoon. (b) Ko boy or girl on the Rama Indian Reserve actually or apparently under 16 years of age, shall be in any place of entertainment, street, lane, by-vay or casnan within the said reserve after the hour of nine oclock in the afternoon unless accompanied by his or her parent or an adult appointed by a parent to accompany such child. (c) 1 boy or girl on the Rasa Indian Reserve found violating the provisions of paragraph (a) or (b) nay be warned and conducted hone by & police officer and if the warning is not regarded or after the warning the boy or girl is agin found disobeying said paragraph (a) or (b) the parents of such boy or girl shall be directed to neet with the Advisory Committee appointed by the council of the Band for the protection of the children. (d) A parent who permits his child to violate paragraph (a) or (b) be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on sunnary conviction to a fine not exceeding $5.00 or imprisonment for a tern not exceeding seven days, or both fine and imprisonment.
