Box 1319 S # /(_]££>- (cOb Chapleau, Ontario QjktsuQ, POM 1K0 L A W A N D O R D E R B Y - L A W The Brunswick House Law and Order By-Law / Whereas Section 81 of the Indian Act empowers a Council of a Band of Indians to make By-Laws and the imposition of a penalty for violation of the by-laws; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Brunswick House Band of Indians enacts as a by-law as follows: 1) No person shall remove, deface, destroy, damage, mutilate or in any manner whatsoever vandalize public property on the reserve. 2) No person shall remove, deface, destroy, damage, mutilate or in any manner whatsoever vandalize private property on the reserve. 3) Where a minor commits any of thè acts in Section 1 or Section 2 the parents of the minor shall be responsible for paying for any of the damages to the property. 4) Any person who violates any of the provisions of this by-law shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $ 1000.00 or imprisonment not exceeding 30 days or to both fine and imprisonment. 5) By-law 1(SOR/72-348), By-law 2(SOR/72-349), By-law 3(SOR/72-350) and By-law 4(SOR/72-351) of the Brunswick House Band are hereby repealed.
