KETTLE POINT INDIAN RESERVE #44. , KETTLE POINT ONTARIO. \ ( BY-LAW #14 A by-law to authorize and provide payment for fire protection, police protection, garbage collection and road maintenance services for tenants of the Kettle Point Indian Reserve #44. WHEREAS it has been deemed advisable that fire protection, police protection, garbage collection and road maintenance services be provided to all tenants of the Kettle Point Indian Reserve Number 44, and further that payment for such services shall be made by such tenants. NOW THEREFORE in pursuant to the authority of Section 81 of the Indian Act, R S C 1952, Chapter 149 as amended, the Council of the Chippewas of Kettle Point Indian Reserve enacts as follows: jl. The Kettle Point Indian Reserve Number 44 Rand shall provide such services for fire protection, police protection, garbage collection and road maintenance as the Kettle Point Indian Reserve Number 44 Band Council shall deem advisable and expedient from time to time for all tenants of the Kettle Point Indian Reserve Number 44 Band. 2. The annual term for such services shall be from May 1st in each year to April 30th in the following year, commencing on May 1st 1974 3. The annual payment of 85.00 dollars shall be payable and required from the tenant of each separate property leased from, the Kettle Point Indian Band Number 44. If any tenant shall have more than one dwelling, trailer or cottage on a single leased premise, a 85.00 dollar fee shall be. due and payable for each such dwelling, trailer or cottage. 4. Such payments shall be due and payable thirty days after notice thereof has been delivered to such tenant by ordinary mail. 5. .. . - - - - ~~ Upon any paymettthereby^ë^Tfed^being' 'xrif 'default,'"‘fhe Kettle Point Indian Reserve Number 44 Band shall be at liberty to enforce collection of x any such amount owing against the property of the tenant situate on the lease lands. 6. This by-law shall not apply to business, commercial or farm leases. 7. Notice of this by-law shall be mailed to all such tenants. 8. .
