(d), (g) and (r) of the Indian Act empowers the Kettle and stony Point Council to pass by-laws to provide for the observance of law and order, the prevention of disorderly conduct, any matters ancillary to. and a penalty for the violation of any such by-law; AND WHEREAS the Council of the Chippewas of Kettle and Stony Point is of the opinion that children under the age of 16 years should not remain unattended and without adult supervision in public places during the evenings, for the welfare and safety of those children and also for the welfare of the community; NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Chippewas of Kettle and Stony Point HEREBY ENACTS A BY-LAW AS FOLLOWS: SHORT TITLE 1 T C h u i r s fe w b y B y la w l a m w a " y , be cited as the "Kettle and Stony Point II STATION 2 In this By-Law: (1) "Council" means the duly elected Chief and Councillors for the Kettle & Stony Point First Nation. (2) "Child" means any person who is under the age of 16 (sixteen) years, (3) r " e C l o i m g m i u o n u i s t y c s e o l c e i b a r l a ti e o v n e , n t" as such by the Council. (4) "Parent" means a father, mother, tutor, guardian or person having the custody or care in law or in fact of a child.
