SQUAMISH INDIAN BAND AMENDMENT TO MARINA BY-LAW, 197 9 WHEREAS the Marina By-law, 1979 enacted by the Council of the Squamish Indian Band on May 4, 1979 was entitled "Zoning By-law No. 6, 1972, Amendment By-law No. 11, 1979"; AND WHEREAS the Council of the Squamish Indian Band did on January 13, 1978 enact a by-law to permit the construction of a canopy and' three signs at the International Plaza Hotel, which by-law was entitled "By-law No. 11, Amendment to Squamish Indian Band Zoning By-law No. 6, 1972"; AND WHEREAS the Marina By-law, 1979 refers to a meeting assembled on the 27th day of April, 1979 when in fact the said by-law was enacted at a meeting on the 4th day of May, 1979; NOW THEREFORE the Squamish Indian Band Council does hereby amend the said Marina By-law, 1979 as follows: 1. The title "Zoning By-law No. 6, 1972, Amendment By-law No. 11, 1979" is hereby amended to read: Zoning By-law No. 6, 1972 Amendment By-law No. 12, 1979. 2. The introduction to the Marina By-law, 1979 which presently states: "NOW THEREFORE the Squamish Indian Band Council in meeting assembled on the 27th day of April, 1979, hereby enacts as follows:" is hereby amended as follows: "NOW THEREFORE the Squamish Indian Band Council in meeting assembled on the 4th day of May, 1979, hereby enacts as follows:" CONSIDERED AND PASSED by the Squamish Indian Band Council on the 1st day of October , 1979.
