' ^ The Council of the TSAWATAXN5ÜK Band of Indians at a meeting held March 12, 1954 _, makes the following bylaw pursunat to paragraph (h) and (r) of section 80 of the Indian Act: Bylaw No. 5____ A bylaw to provide for the regulation of the construction, repair and use of buildings in the_____TSAÏÏATAINSÜK____________ Indian Reserve, whether owned by the band or by individual members of the band. (a) , Notwithstanding the right of ary member of the band to erect a house to his c,vn specifications, every such house must consist of a minimum of three rooms and may be erected only on land to which the member of the band is in lawful possession. (b) The Council may require any householder to effect within reasonable time, any repairs to his home if in the consideration of a majority of the Council, the house, presents an unsightly appearance. (c) Abandoned houses must be dismantled by the owner within a reason­ able time as advised by the Council. Failure to comply with the order will cause the Council to have such building demolished and the cost of such will be charge against the owner. (d) Any person who violates any of the provisions of this bylaw shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding ten dollars or imprisonment for a term not exceeding seven days or both fine and imprisonment.
