M 4ne Council of the SkLdegate Band of Indians at a meeting held this 30 day of March » 196S>, makes the following by-law pursuant to paragraph (a)(ii) of subsection (1) of section 82 and paragraph (r) of section 80 of the Indian Act. By-law No» 1 A by-law to provide for the licencing of businesses, callings, trades and occupations within the Skidegate Indian ReserveNo. 1, in the Province of British Columbia. (a) No person shall conduct or carry on any business, calling trade or occupation as listed hereunder who is not the holder of a valid and subsisting licence for the business, calling, trade or occupation issued pursuant to this by-law. (b) There shall be paid at the time of application for a licence a fee in the amount as set out hereunder, which licence may be renewed from year to year upon payment of the required fee: Licence Business Calling Trade Occupation Fee General Stores $100.00 Pedlars 50.00 Fishing(Herring) Herring Bàit Business 50.00 Electrician 50.00 Plumber 50.00 (c) Any person who violates any of the provisions of this by-law shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $100.00 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding io days or both fine and imprisonment. ,L..
