The Council of the Kincolith Band.of Indians, at a meeting held at Kincolith British Columbia on the Seventh day of April, 1988 makes the following By-Law pursuant to Subsection (c) of Section 82, subsection (1), and (2) of the Indian Act. A By-Law for communications, with respect to C.B. and V.H.F. radio receivers in the reserve of Kincolith Number 14. (a) An individual must purchase a license in order to operate a C.B., for a period of 1 year in the amount of $________ (b) Purpose of C.B.'s is for emergency calls. (c) All emergency calls will respond by the distress signal "CODE". CODE. 1 (one) = Fire /Location CODE 2 (two) _ = Medical /Location CODE 3 (three) = R.C.M.P. -Family fights; weapons /Location CODE 4 (four) = Mayday-Marine /Location. (d) All other C.B. owners must maintain "quietness" or silence upon hearing a Code call, and to stay off the air until authority has been given. (e) No children must use the C.B. or V.H.F. unless authority is given by the C.B. or V.H.F. owner, unless it is an emergency. (f) All C.B. and V.H.F. owners must respect visitors coming into Kincolith and "switch over" after making a call. ( g) Abuse and quarelling over thie C.B. is strictly prohibited and is subject to a fine of ______ . (h) R.C.M.P. has the authority under by-law #9 to confiscate a C.B. mike.
