Th» Council of the Morieetown Bend of Indians at a meeting held this ^ day of v # 1962, make the following by-law pursuant to paragraphs (o), (q), and (r) of section Ô0 of the Indian lot. By-Law No. 1 A by-law to provide for the preservation, protection and management of fish and gene on the Korioetown Indian Reserve No. 1 in the Province of British Columbia,. 1. In this by-law, (a) Band" means the Morieetown Band of Indiana) (b) cssaping permit" means a camping permit Issued pursuant to this by-law) (c) Council0 mean* the Counoil of the Band) (d) "fishing permit8 means a fishing permit issued pursuant to this by-law) (e) "Reserve" mans the Morieetown Indian Reserve No. lj and (f) "warden* means any person appointed by the Council as a warden for the purposes of this by-law. 2. The Council may appoint any person aa a warden and may cancel the appointment of any warden. 3. No person other than a member of the Band shall fish from or be In possession of fishing equipment on the deserve except under authority of a fishing permit. ù. A fishing permit may be issued by the warden to any person authorised under the laws of the Province of British Columbia to fish in waters contiguous to the Reserve. Ç. A fishing permit (1) 3hall be valid only for the period inscribed theraon and {2) shall be subject to any fee that may bo established in writing from time to time by the Council for the issuing of fishing permits. . . . «2

A camping pendt m y be issued by the warden te any person and sueh camping permit (1) shell be valid only far the period inscribed thereon end fear such places on the Reserve as are designated as eamping places by the Counoilj and (2) shall be subject to any foe that may be issued in writing fro® time to time by the Council for the issuing of cashing penal te. 11* The warden may cancel any fishing permit or camping permit where* in the opinion of the warden* the holder of such partait has so ted in a manner contrary to the best interests of the Band* 12. Any person who violates any of the provisions of this by-law shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on susnary conviction to a fine not exceeding tan dollars or Itqprisenaent for a term not exceeding seven days or both fine and imprisonment* Chief*
