The Council of the Port Slmpaon Band of Indians at a meeting held Maroh 10th.' 1955 » makes the following bylaw pursuant to paragraph (1) and (r) of section t 80 of The Indian Act. . Eylaw Ko. X . A bylaw to provide for the regulation of the use of public wells, cisterns, reservoirs and other water supplies. (a) No person shall wilfully or maliciously pollute any pub­ lic well, cistern, reservoir or other water supply within the Port Simpson Indian Reserve, in the Province of _ _ _ ' British Columbia . (b) No person shall destroy or injure any public well, cistern, . reservoir or other water supply within the reserve. :-(c) The holder of a certificate of possession or occupant of . land within the reserve shall keep any' well thereon properly en-/ closed or covered. * (d) No person shall deposit into or on the ico of or on the shores of any raters lying within the reserve any night-soil, garbage, manure, offal, dead animal mattery decaying vegetable matter or any substance or substances which in any way may con­ taminate such waters and tond to make the waters therefrom unfit for human consumption, J (a) Any person who violates any of the provisions of this by­ law shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding ten dollars or imprisonment for a term not exceeding seven days, or both fine and imprisonment. > *
