NOW THEREFORE the Council of Lake Babine Band enacts as follows; In this by-law: (a) "Council" means the Council of the Lake Babine Indian Band, as defined in the Indian Act; (b) "Deputy Chief and Council" means the Deputy Chief and Council of Indian Reserve #27, #6 & 16, #11, #13, and #25, as appointed or elected from time to time in accordance with the custom of the Lake Babine Indian Band; .. . 2 A quorum for this Band Pour cette bande le quorum est consists of fixé à FIVE (5) Council Members. No person may trespass upon the Reserve, or frequent the Reserve for prohibited purposes. No person, other than person who has a right to be on the Reserve after receiving proper written notice from the Council or Deputy Chief and Council to vacate the said Reserve. Any person who violates any of the provisions of this by-law shall pursuant to section 30 of the Indian Act, be guilty of an offence and shall be liable upon summary conviction to a fine not exceed ing $50.00 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding one month or to both a fine and imprisonment.
