IC.liVTTnCT'L.TIl T IT IAT A.GTTCY NINPKISH BAKU BILANS The council o f the Nimpkish Band o f Indians at a meeting hëld August 15, 1953 makes the following bylaw pursuant to para­ graph (1) and (r) o f section SO o f the Indian Act. Bylaw No. 1 A bylaw to provide for the regulation o f the use o f public w ells, cisterns, reservoirs and other water supplies. I (a) No person shall w ilfu lly or maliciously pollute any public w ell, cisteri) reservoir or other water supply within the Nimpkish Indian Reserve, in the Province o f British Columbia. (b) No person shall destroy or injure any public w ell, cistern , reservoir or other water supply within the reserve. (c) The holder o f a c e rt ifica te o f possession or occupant o f land within the reserve shall keep any well thereon prop * erly enclosed or covered. (d) Any person who violates any o f the provisions of this bylaw shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liab le on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding ten dollars or imprison­ ment for a term not exceeding seven days, or both fine and imprisonment
