f>oR/ Ô3 '~ÔÊ»Z. 'A' HEILTSUK BAND BY-LAW 18, 1983 Being a by-law to amend by-law No.8 being a by-law regarding the regulation of traffic in Bella Bella Indian Reserve %1. WHEREAS the Council of the HeiltsB and of Indians passed its by-law No. 8 on June 7,1 958 to regulate traffic in Bella Bella; AND WHEREAS the Council of the Heiltsuk Band of Indians wishes to amend the said by-law; NOWTHEREFORE the Council of the Heiltsuk Band of Indians makes as a by-law thereof the following: 1. By-law No 8, dated June 7, 1958, respecting regulation of traffic is hereby amended by deleting section (a) thereof and substituting the following as Section (a); "No vehicles shall be operated at a rate of speed in excess of 25 kilometres per hour on any road or wharf approach or field or any surface used as a road by vehicles within Bella Bella Indian Reserve Hi;" And by deleting section (c) thereof and substituting the following as section (c) ; "Any person who violates any of the provisions of this y 5 do bp-law shall be guilty of an offense and shall be triable on summary conviction to a fine of one hundred ^ ix> n Ùollars( $100.00) or imprisonment for a term not exceeding Ü ID Q S gj 2 30 days, or both fine and imprisonment." Passed at a duly convened meeting of the Council of the Heiltsuk Band of Indians this 22nd day of September, 1983, as evidenced by the signatures given below being those of a majority of the Councillors of the Band present at that meeting.
