The Council of the Fairford Band of Indians at a meet­ ing held J'iyO (date), makes the following by-law pursuant to paragraph (b) and (r) of section 80 of The Indian Act. By-law No. 1 A by-law to provide for the regulation of traffic in the Fairford Indian Reserve, in the Province of Manitoba. (a) No vehicle shall be operated at a rate of speed in excess of 30 miles an hour on any road within the Fairford Indian Reserve. (b) Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph (a) no vehicle shall be operated at a rate of speed in excess of 15 miles an hour within any school area designated and marked as such by the council of the Band. (c) Any person who violates any of the provisions of this by-law shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceed­ ing ten dollars or imprisonment for a term not exceed­ ing seven days, or both fine and imprisonment.
