FOR HEADQUARTERS USE ONLY COUNCIL OF THE BAND Garden Hill AGENCY Island lake PROVINCE iianltooa PLACE Garden riiil council hall DATE AD 19 M O N T ÉE EAR DO HEREBY RESOLVE: , 3 y À rt * A ̂ ' / Whereas the Band Council of Garden Hill are concerned that children and juveniles are Being le ft alone in their hones at night and being taken, to social functions which, end late at night , and are permitted to stay out late by their parents or guardians And whereas the Chief and c ouncil recognise the BARGER of PISES occurring in hom-3 containing unattended children* ie the undersigned chief and council do hereby resolve that; That allonnd members living on the reserve shall be in their homes or residences by 11:00 p.m. each and every night. That a ll Social functions on reserve shall cease from 10:30 p.n. each and every night. It is also recognized that in case of illness or other emergency, this by-law may be waived at th9 discretion of the Chief & Council, or a person such as Indian Constable, appointed by them. It is further recognized th§t the law dees not apply to non~3and members living on. leased Reserve land as long a3 their movements after the stated hours are restricted to the aforesaw leased land* Any breaches of this by-law or other disputes shall be judged by tli3 Chief & Council in accordance with the recognized procedures. Any disputant being given an open hearing in the presence of those bringing notice of the breach or dispute. Tha decision of the Chief and Council in case of breach or dispute shall be fin a l.
