POUNDMAKER BAND COUNCIL BY-LAW The Council of the Poundmaker Band of Indians at a meeting held on makes the following by-law under Section 80, sub-section (b) of the Indian Act* _ 1 j BY-LAW NO. f A A by-law for the regulation of traffic in the Poundmaker Indian Reserve, in the Province of Saskatchewan. (a) No vehicle shall be operated at a rate of speed in excess of miles per hour within any residential area designated and marked as such by the Band Council^ (b) No vehicle shall be operated on any main access and grid road within the Reserve in excess of the speed posted on signs designated from time to time by the Band Council. (c) No vehicle shall be operated at a rate of speed in excess of twenty (20) miles per hour within any school zone designated and marked as such by the Band Council. \ (d) The Band may from time to time designate school zones, residential areas and erect sign* designating such areas and the maximum speed limit therein. (e) No person shall drive a motor vehicle at a rate of speed in excess of fifteen (15) miles per hour near cattle or horses. (f) No person shall operate a motor vehicle within the confines of the Indian R.serve without same being registered with the Motor Licence office, Government of Saskatchewan, and such registration being evidenced by Licence Plates being attached to the said vehicle. (g) No person shall operate a motor vehicle within the confines of ttb Indian Reserve unless he is the holder of a current Saskatchewan Motor Vehicle operators licence* (h) Any person who finds any closed gate on any road on the Reserve shall not go through same without closing same after passing through, failing to do so shall be deemed to be an offence under this by-law. (i) Any person who violates any of the provisions of this by-law shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not re c f iv e d JAN 20 191? KiOkfH
