POUNDMAKER BAND COUNCIL BY-LAW The Council of the Poundmaker Band of Indiana at a meeting held on Pounrimaker Reserve makes the following by-law under Section 8l, sub-section (d) of Tne Indian Act. BY-LAW No. If A By-law No. k dated January 10* 1971 and By-law No. k dated May 25* 1972* be and tht same are hereby repealed. ~A by-law to provide for the regulation of. nuisances* littering Reserve property and noise. (a) No operator of a motor vehicle shall blow his horn unnecessarily or operate his motor vehicle in such a manner to make unnecessary noise. s -(b) No operator of a motor vehicle shall leave his vehicle unattended on any grid or access road within the confines of the Reserve without parking same to the extreme right hand side of such road and placing flares or other visible markers both in front and rear of said vehicle at a distance of not less than ONE HUNDRED and TWENTY (120) feet. (d) No person shall leave unattended motor vehicles on any grid or access road within the confines of the Reserve for a period longer than forty- eight (*f8) hours. (d) If a vehicle is left on a road on the Reserve for a period in excess of forty-eight (*t8) hours the Band Council can designate someone to remove same and charge the owner thereof with the costs of removal of the said vehicle, .'.which charges must be paid before the car will be released to the owner. (e) No one shall throw refuse, garbage, bottles, etc., or otherwise litter on the Reserve except by placing same in designated dumps and disposal areas as designated by the Council from time to time. (f) Any person who violates any of the provisions of this by-law shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding ONE HUNDRED ($100.00) dollars or imprisonment for a term not exceeding thiry (JO) days or both fine and imprisonment.
