The following is the lis of the by-laws that were decided to be put into effect: 1 By-law-No. 3k ...Regulation of traffic (a) No vehicle shall be operated at a rate of speed in excess of 30 miles an hour within any residential area designated and narked as such by the council of the band. (b) No vehicle shall be operated over any bridge within the Millbrook Indian Reserve at a rate of speed in excess of the speed designated and marked thereon bv the council of the band. (c) Any person who violates any of the provisions of this by-law shall be guilty of an offense and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding ten dollars or imprisonment for a term not ex ceeding seven days, or both fine and imprisonment. continued: (Chie f)

(b) No person shall destroy or injury any public well, cistern, reservoir or ether water supply within the reserve. (c) The holder of a certificate of possession or occupant of land within the reserve shall keep any well thereon properly enclosed, or covered. (d) No person shall deposit into or on the ice of or on the shores of any waters lying within the reserve any night-soil, garbage, manure, offal, dead animal matter, decaying vegetable matter or any substance or substances which in any way may contaminate such waters and tend to make waters therefrom unfit for human consumption. AD 19 . 70___ DAY v MONTH YEAR DO HEREBY RESOLVE: C O n t i l T U 6 d ; By-law Mo.^...Disposal of garbage and waste (a) Ho person shall accumulate or permit to be accumulated upon lands in his possession or deposit or accumulate on the lands in possess ion of another cerson anything which is or may become offensive or in jurious to health. (b) Ho person shall deposit any dead animal, offal, fish, manure,, garbage, fruit, vegetables, night-soil, filth, liquid waste, or any thing» of a nature which is or may become offensive or prejudicial to. health upon or into any highway, street, road, alley, lane, lot, ditch, wharf, dock, lake, pond, river, stream, well, or sewer, or any land or pre mises within the reserve and any such deposit shall be deemed a nuisance, provided, however, that the provisions of any such material into or at " place within the reserve approved by the council for that purpose. (c) The council may arrange for the regular removal of garbage and waste from any premises within the reserve. (d) In the spring of each year as soon as the melting of snow permits the person in possession of any premises within the reserve shall collect all waste master lying thereon including tin cans, bottles, paper and animal manure.
