c SAMPLE AMENDING BY-LAW The Millbrook Band BY-LAW 1992•_[__ A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW 1991.3 TO REGULATE THE CONSTRUCTION, REPAIR AND USE OF BUILDINGS ON-̂ THE RESERVE WHEREAS paragraphs 81(1)(h), (q) and (r) of the Indian Act empower the council of an Indian Band to make by-laws respecting the regulation of construction, repair and use of buildings on the Reserve and the imposition of a fine for violation of any by­ laws made under that section; AND WHEREAS the council of the Millbrook Band did enact by-law number 1991.3 respecting the regulation of construction, repairs and use of buildings on the reserve; AND WHEREAS the said council deems it to be expedient and in the best interest of the residents of the Millbrook Reserve to amend the said by-law; NOW THEREFORE the council of the Millbrook Band enacts as a by­ law thereof as follows: 1. Section 9 (1)(f) of by-law 1991.3 and the same is hereby amended by deleting the word "related" in the first line thereof and inserting in lieu thereof the word "relate", so that the said section shall read: 9.(1)(f) Answer such questions as relate to the administration of this by-law; 2. Section 9 (2) of by-law 1991.3 and the same is hereby amended by inserting subsection (f) between subsections (e) and (g) so that the said section shall read: 9. (2)(f) the termination of-any occupancy of any building in contravention of an occupancy permit, this by­ law or other applicable by-law; and
