The Council of the Saddle Lake Band of Indians at a meeting held at Agency office, St.Paul, 5 March,19 5g. makes the following bylaw pursuant to paragraph (b) and (r) of section SO of the Indian Act. Bylaw No* 1 A bylaw to provide for the regulation of traffic in Saddle Lake and Goodfish Lake_____Indian Reserve, in the Province of Alberta.____ (a) No vehicle shall be operated on any gravelled or constructed road at a rate in excess of kO miles per hour. (b) No vehicle shall be operated on any wagon road, trail or road not constructed with road building machinery at a rate inrexcess of 25 miles per hour. (c) No vehicle shall'' be operated at a rate in excess of 20 miles per hour in any residential area, specifically in such areas as Agency Headquarters. (d) No vehicle shall be operated at a rate in excess of 15 miles per hour in any school zone. (e) All areas in section (c) and (d) shall be designated and marked as such by the Council of the band.

( y Bylaw No» 1 - con^d ( ' (f) No vehicle shall be operated over any bridge within the Goodfish Lake or Saddle Lake reserves at a rate in excess of 20 miles per hour and all such bridge zones shall be marked by the Council of the Saddle Lake Band and the speed limit shall be clearly marked on all signs. Any person who violated any of the provisions of this bylaw shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding ten dollars or imprisonment for a term not exceeding seven days, or both fine and imprisonment* This bylaw is approved by the Chiefs and Councillors of the Saddle Lake and Goodfish Lake Reserves.
