THE PAUL BAND OF INDIANS 3 10 BY LAW NUMBER 6 Being a by-law for the posting of certain lands within the Wabumum Indian Reserve 133A, Province of Alberta; to restrict hunting and shooting within the community pasture legally described as: Paul Band Community Pasture as per Schedule "A" attached and pursuant to Section 81 para (D) & (R) of the Indian Act. WHEREAS: the Council of Paul Band of Indians exact as a by law pursuant to Section 83 of the Indian Act to be known as "Wabamum Restrictive Hunting & Shooting By-law. AND WHEREAS: the by-law will be in force and enforced during the months of May, June, July, August, September, in every year within the boundaries of the community pasture above described. THEREFORE: the Council of the Paul Band of Indians pursuant to Section 83 of the Indian Act exacts as a by-law as follows. A. No person shall carry, or discharge firearms, B.B. guns, pellet guns, or bow and arrow, within the above described lands on the Wabamum Indian Reserve #133A, during the cattle grazing months of May X to September 30, inclusive; in any year. B. Any person who violates the provision of this by-law shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 30 days, or both, for violation of this by-law.
