C A N A D A DEPARTMENT OF CITIZENSHIP AND IMMIGRATION I N D I A N A F F A I R S B R A N C H Hobbema, Alberta, December 23, 1958 MONTANA RESERVE HOBBEMA INDIAN AGENCY The Council of the Montana Band of Indians, at a meeting held at the Hobbema Agency Council Hall on December 23, 1958, makes the following By-law pursuant to paragraph (b) and (fc) of Section 80 of the Indian Act: By-law number two (2) A By-law to provide for the regulation of traffic in the Montana Indian Reserve, in the Province of Alberta. (a) No vehicle shall be operated at a rate of speed in excess of twenty-five (25) miles per hour within any residential area designated and marked as such by the Council of the Montana Band. (b) No vehicle shall be operated at a rate of speed in excess of fifteen (15) miles per hour within any designated school zone. (c) All zones in (a) and (b) above are to be marked with approved road signs..' (d) Any person who violates any of the provisions of this By-law shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine of not more than ten dollars or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding seven days, or to both fine and imprisonment.

(f) The area designated in (b) above shall be that portion of the roads running north, south, east, and west from the northwest corner of Section 21, Township 43, Range 24, west of the fourth Meridian for a distance of 300 yards in each of the four directions.
