The Council of the Blood Band of Indians at a meeting held the 4 __ day of July , 1977, makes the following bylaw pursuant to paragraphs (c), (d), (q) , and (r) of Section 81 of the Indian Act: Bylaw No. 11_ A bylaw to provide for the regulation of the activities of boys and girls on that portion of the Blood Indian Reserve, in the Province of Alberta, shown on the Plans hereunto annexed and commonly known and hereafter referred to as the Stand-off, Moses Lake and Lavern y communities actually or apparently under 16 years of age. In this bylaw, "adult.” means any person who is over the age of 18 years. (a) No boy, or girl within the designated communities actually or apparently under 16 years of age, shall loiter within the desig nated communities after nine thirty o'clock in the afternoon, Monday through Sunday inclusive during the school term. Other than the school term the curfew time will be extended to 11: 00 p.m. (b) No boy, or girl within the designated communities actually or apparently under 16 years of age, shall be in any place of entertainment, street, land, by-ways, or common land within the designated communities after the hour of nine thirty o'clock in the afternoon during the school term, unless accompanied by his or her parent or an adult appointed by a parent to accompany such child; other than the school term, the curfew time will be extended to 11:00 p.m. (c) A boy or girl within the designated communities found violating the provisions of paragraph (a) or (b) may be warned and conveyed home by a police officer, band constable or bylaw enforcement officer. (d) A parent, guardian, or anyone responsible who permits his child to violate (a) or (b) shall be guilty of an offense and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $100 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 30 days or both fine and imprisonment.
