FORT MCKAY TAX RATES BY-LAW WHEREAS pursuant to subsection 83(1)(a) of the Indian may make by-laws for the purpose of taxation for local rights to occupy, possess or use land in a reserve and ancillary to such purpose; and WHEREAS the Council of the Fort McKay First Nation and Taxation By-law on January 15, 2009; THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the following provisions of the Indian Act and in particular section taxation. 1. This by-law may be cited for all purposes as the By-law 2012. 2. Pursuant to Section 8 (1) of the Fort McKay Properly of tax applied against the assessed value of property (a) for non-residential and linear property (b) for machinery and equipment 3. This By-law comes into force and effect upon Northern Development.
