Minister of Indian Affairs Ministre des Affaires and Northern Development indiennes et du Nord canadien Ottawa, Canada K1A OH4 I, the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, HEREBY APPROVE, pursuant to section 83 of the Indian Act, the following bylaw made by the Bonaparte Indian Band, in the Province of British Columbia, at a meeting held on the 23`d day of May 2000 . Bonaparte Indian Band Annual Tax Rates Bylaw No. 7, 2000 /~o/0~/D . Dated at Ottawa, Ontario this ~~'~ day of 2000 .
Bonaparte Indian Band Annual Tax Rates Bylaw No. 7, 2000 'W hereas : Pursuant to section 11 of the Bonaparte Indian Band Property Tax By-law it is necessary to establish each year, by by-law, the tax rates for each separate property class within each reserve, NOW THEREFORE the Baud Council of the Bonaparte Indian Band enacts as ~ follows : 1 . Schedule "A": annexed hereto is hereby declared an integral part of this by-law. 2 . The classes of property for the purposes of this by-law are established hereby as set out in the Prescribed Classes of Property Regulation, BC Regulation 438/81, made pursuant to the Assessment Act (BC), and in force for 2000. 3. Taxes shall be levied by applying the rate of tax against each $1,000.00 of assessed value found in the assessment roll produced in accordance with the provisions of the Bonaparte Property Tax By-law. 4. For the purpose of section 11 of the Bonaparte Property Tax By-law there are hereby established, imposed and levied for the taxation year 2000 the following tax rates, namely for each separate property class within each named reserve the tax rale set out in column 3 of Schedule "A" beside the property clas,', set out in column 2 of Schedule "A". 5. This by-law shall come into force and effective immediately upon approval by the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development.
