COLUMBIA. LAKEINDIAN BAND BYLAWN0.2002-TX2 WHEREAS pursuant to subsection 83(1) ofthe Indian Act, the Council of a Band may make bylaws for the purpose of taxation for local purposes of land, or interest in land including the rights to occupy, possess or use lands within the boundaries of the Reserve and with respect to any matters arising out of or any ancillary to such purpose: ANDWHEREAS THE council of the Columbia Lake Indian Band enacted the Columbia Lake Indian Band Taxation and Assesment bylaw on March 9, 1992; _ NOW BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the following bylaw be and s hereby enacted pursuant to the provisions of theIndian Act and in particular section 83(1) for the purpose of establishing annual rates of taxation . 1. This bylawmay be cited for all purposes as the Columbia Lake Indian Band 2002 RatesBylaw. 2. Pursuant to section 24 of the Columbia Lake Indian Band Taxation Bylaw, the rates for each class of property shall be in accordance with Schedule "A" which is attached and forms part of the 2002 rates Bylaw.
