Seabird Island Indian Band Rates By-law No . 1998-1 Dated at Ottawa, Ontario this 9th day of June 1998.
Schedule "A" Seabird Island Indian Band Prescribed Tax Rates For the Taxation Year 1998 Class of Property Tax Rate 1) Residential 10.42414 2) Utilities 61 .99490 3) Unmanaged Forest 19 .29929 4) Major Industry 30.06628 5) Light Industry 26 .97529 6) Business 20 .88661 7) Managed Forest 22.70052 8) Recreation / nonprofit 9.18104 9) Farm 17.94497 BE IT KNOWN that this By-Law entitled "the Rates By-Law" which forms part of the Taxation By-Law passed by Chief and Council and approved by the Minister on July 30th 1993, that being a by law to establish by by-law a system on the reserve lands of the Seabird Island Indian Band for the fair and equitable taxation for local purposes of land, or interests in land including the right to occupy, possess or use lands within the boundaries of the reserves is hereby enacted as by-law 1998-1 by the Chief and Council of the Seabird Island Indian Band.
