By-law 1996-3 (Rates By-law) Dated at Ottawa, Ontario this 3rd day of June . 1996 .
SCHEDULE "A" SEABIRD ISLAND INDIAN BAND PRESCRIBED TAXRATES FORTHE TAXATION YEAR 1996 Class of Property Tax Rate 1) Residential 9.60 2) Utilities 60.69 3) Unmanaged forest 18.21 4) Major industry 26.32 5) Light industry 23.38 6) Business 18.72 7) Managed forest 26.35 8) Recreation / nonprofit ~ 8.31 9) Farm 16.80 BE IT KNOWN that this By-Law entitled "the Rates By-Law" which form part of the Taxation By-Law passed by Chief and Council and approved by the Minister on July 30, 1993, that being a by-law to establish by by-law a system on the reserve lands of the Seabird Island Indian Band for the fair and equitable taxation for local purposes of land, or interests in land including the right to occupy, possess or use lands within the boundaries of the reserves is hereby enacted as By-Law 1996-3 by the Chiefand Council of the Seabird Island Indian Band.
