The Council of the __Band o{ Indians at a meeting h e l d ___ _________________________ , makes the fol lowing by law pursuant to paragraphs ( c ) , (d) , (q) and (r) of Section 80 of the Indian Act, By -law No, _______ ___ A by-law to provide for the regulation of the act ivit ies of boys and girls on the ® I n d i a n Reserve, actually or apparently under 16 years of age, (a) No boy or girl on the . î l î f _?_£ __Indian Re serve actually or apparently under 16 years of age, shall loiter any place within theM J.ssissaugaJ^J^9_C redit_ Indian Reserve after nine o ' c l o c k in the afternoon, (b) No boy or girl on the ^ ^ i i Indian Re serve actually or apparently under 16 years of age, shall be_in any place of entertainment, street, lane, by-way or common within the said reserve after the hour of nine o ' c l o ck in the afternoon unless accompanied by his or her parent or an adult appointed by a parent to accompany such chi ld, ( ° ) a boy or girl on the Indian Reserve found violating the provisions of paragraph (a) or (b) may be warned and conducted home by a pol i ce of f i cer and i f the warning is not regarded or after the warning the boy or girl is again found disobeying said paragraph (a) or (b) the parents of such boy or girl shall be directed to meet with the Advisory Committee appointed by the counci l of the Band for the protec tion of the children* (d) A parent who permits his child to violate paragraph (a) or (b) shall be guilty of an of fence and shall be l iable on summary convict ion to a fine not exceeding $5,00 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding seven days, or both fine and imprisonment.
