SORJ >8-SHS BIG GRASSY BAND BY-LAW NO. 4-78 (1) This By-law may be cited as "The Band Administration By-law". (2) This By-law is made pursuant to the Indian Act, paragraph (q) of section 81 of the Indian Act. (3) The purpose of this by-law is to create the position of a by-law administrator to interpret and promote the enforcement of all Band By-laws. (4) The Big Grassy Band Council hereby enacts the following as a by-law: 1. That the position of Band By-law Administrator is hereby created for the Big Grassy Band. 2. That the position shall be filled in accordance with the policy of the Band Council expressed by resolution. 3. That the duties of the Band By-law Administrator shall be as follows : (a) To keep in his office the originals of all by-laws and of all minutes of the proceedings of the Band Council (b) To be acquainted with all by-laws of the Band and ensure that they are carried out and to bring to the attention of Council, any case where a by-law is inadequate or being improperly enforced. (5) This By-law was approved and passed at a meeting of the Band Council on ______Nov. 16, 1978____. SaA/7?-/*2-'& £ * -* * '/ ?/ S f 7 ? BIG GRASSY BAND BYLAW NO. 1 1. This Bylaw is made pursuant to Section 81 of The Indian Act. 2. The purpose of this Bylaw is to provide for the removal and punishment of persons trespassing upon the Reserves or any of the Reserves, or any part of parts of thereof, of Big Grassy Band. 3. The Council of Big Grassy Band hereby enacts, as Bylaw No. 1 of Big Grassy Band, that :-4. A person who traspasses on a Reserve of Big Grassy Band, or any part or parts thereof, is guilty of an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $50.00 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one month, or to both fine and imprisonment. 5.
