SQUAMISH INDIAN BAND COUNCIL BY-LAW NO. 5 1971 By-law to authorize the construction of an office building on part of u i-a h o s il Q a u n ea o n , I .R i » n N r o i . g ht 5 o u f n de C r a na l d e a a , s e an d d a te P as shown on sketch attached hereto as Appendix AM and outlined in red. ihs Squamxsh Indian Band Council in meeting assembled on the 11th day of September 1971, pursuant to Sub-sections (f), (g), (h), (l) and {q) of Section 81 of the Indian Act, R.S.C. 1970, Chapter 1—6, hereby enacts as follows: 1» The parcel of land shown on the sketch attached and marked Appendix ”AM amounting in size to 1.75 acres more or less, shall be developed by the construction of an office building in accordance with plans and specifications dated June 22, 1971, prepared by Wade, Stockdill, Armour &. Blewett, Architects, which have been submitted to and approved by the Corporation of the District of West Vancouver, Building Department. 2. The Band Manager is authorized to issue a letter to the Lessee to permit construction to proceed. 3. The Band Manager is authorized to issue a Building Permit to the contractor, Smith Bros. &. Wilson Ltd., on receipt of a sum of money equal to the normal building permit charges of the Corporation of the District of West Vancouver and to remit said moneys to the Corporation of the District of West Vancouver. 4. The Band Manager is authorized to carry out arrangements with the Corporation of the District of West Vancouver agreed to with the Corporation of the District of West Vancouver for the provision of inspection services and municipal services by that Municipality. 5. This By-law may be cited for all purposes as the Squamish Indian Band-British Columbia Centennial Construction By-law, 1971. Considered and passed by the 11th day of September, A.D. 1971.
